Lifestyle, nightlife‘Person Of Interest’ Series Premiere Review & Discussion OnlineCBS’ new action-thriller has a lot of buzz going for it, with stars James Caviezel and Michael Emerson, not to mention ‘Dark Knight’ writer Jonathan Nolan. But does the premiere deliver on the good guy/Big Brother premise?Person of Interest Premiere ReviewOne of CBS’ highest-profile new projects for the 2011 premiere season is Person of Interest, a thriller with some very familiar names on both sides of the camera. Does it live up to months of lofty expectations? Read on to find out.Person of Interest starts in a surprisingly tender way, with the first of a series of flashbacks between mystery man John Reese (James Caviezel, The Passion of the Christ) and his wife. Fast-forward to modern day New York City, where the same man sits on an empty subway car, cradling a bottle of rot-gut and desperately needing a friend and a shave. When a group of uppity gangsters give him the business, Reese dispatches all four instantly, gaining the attention of the police and a shadowy figure.New, Free Google ToolbarBlock Popups & Share Favorite Sites Download Today & Find Things Fastertoolbar.google.comAds by GoogleEnter Mr. Finch, (Michael Emerson, Lost) a mysterious, eccentric billionaire who offers Reese a job and a mission. Finch has access to the U.S. government’s most powerful data collection tool, a supercomputer that can not only analyze crime but predict it.Finch steals information on low-profile victims-to-be before they become targets, on the basis that the higher-ups don’t care about anything that isn’t a 9-11 sized threat. Finch assigns Reese to observe and protect their first citizen, a young ADA (Natalie Zea, Justified) who may soon be the target of an assassination .A scruffy James Caviezel and Michal Emerson in PErson of InterestThroughout the pilot we’re given clues to the backstory of both Reese and Finch. The former is an ex-CIA agent who became dead to the world after the death of his wife. Finch helped build the (mostly) fictional surveillance network made possible by the Patriot Act after the September 11th attacks. The tragedy gave Finch a purpose for spending his billions for the common good, and he saw an opportunity when the more typical crimes being predicted by his machine were being ignored. He’s determined to be a more benevolent version of Big Brother. Both of them are presumed dead. The action quickly ramps up as Reese tails his assignment and her would-be assignments. Reese tackles underground weapons dealers, mobsters and dirty cops -and all that’s before the twist. Along the way the audience is treated to monologues on the all-pervasive nature of modern surveillance and the morality of using it. Detectives Carter (Taraji P. Henson, I Can Do Bad All By Myself) and Fusco (Kevin Chapman, Rescue Me) have their own reasons for investigating Reese. The first thing that most viewers will notice about Person of Interest is its undeniable and certainly deliberate similarity to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Everything points to the inspiration: characters, themes, atmosphere, even the music. It comes by it honestly – producer Jonathan Nolan worked with big brother Christopher writing for Memento, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and The Dark Night Rises. Other big names in the producer chairs are frequent partners J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk.Reese in a gangster standoff on Person of InterestAll that said, the new show feels like it’s taking the best bits out of Batman and using them to tell a more realistic action story, instead of simply repackaging the essential parts of the Nolan films. The central idea of predictive crime analysis is no longer the stuff of Minority Report sci-fi, and something similar may enter the world of law enforcement very soon. Person of Interest dodges the privacy debate by putting it in the hands of invisible vigilantes (again, see The Dark Knight) who are more of a somber A-Team than an Orwellian threat.Caviezel hasn’t been seen in a regular TV role since The Prisoner two years ago. He returns on a high note, painting Reese as a broken, conflicted man with both an intense desire for justice and a hesitancy to use his lethal skills. The combination makes for a calm, calculated fighter who still comes off as sympathetic. His zen-like fighting (and wonderfully sparse dialogue) is at least as good as any B-action flick you’ve seen in the last year.Emerson provides the counterpoint as a cold, calculating mastermind. His mysterious connections allow him an enormous amount of digital power that he feels a responsibility to use for good. The audience doesn’t know too much about Finch, and his past work with the government will likely be a major plot point in the first season. Emerson is admirably restrained, but those looking for a repeat of his energetic performances on Lost may feel a little let down.Fans wanting no-holds-barred action will not be left wanting. Stunts and fight scenes in Person of Interest approach and at times surpass 24 in the realm of mostly-real action sequences, and the results are absolutely satisfying. It’ll be interesting to see if the writers and producers can keep up this level of intensity for more than a few episodes – they’ll certainly be worth a watch to find out.Reese (James Caviezel) investigates a leadThe pilot features some genuinely surprising twists (much appreciated from a jaded TV reviewer) that will keep you guessing up to the last few minutes. The creepy themes of distrust and complacency make for an excitingly different mood, which are accentuated by the regular use of CCTV angles and “bugged” audio.Person of Interest is one of the most exciting new shows on broadcast TV this year. If you’re looking for a thought-provoking thriller with solid action and storytelling, look no further – especially if you’re a fan of Nolan’s flavor of caped vigilante.Read more

Vanessa Davis, the “Stalker” that Evelyn Lozada was speaking of (the one who hacked her email and stole her sexy nudie pics) is now being sued….And it turns out she has ties to the NBA too, as Ricky Davis’ ex-wife. Details on the flip
One of the stars of the VH1 show “Basketball Wives” claims she’s the victim of a nude-photo-stealing revenge plot — and she suspects the perp is a woman who’s bitter she wasn’t picked for the show. TMZ has obtained a lawsuit filed by Evelyn Lozada (ex-fiancée of former NBA star Antoine Walker) in which she claims Vanessa Davis (former wife of NBA star Ricky Davis) smeared her reputation all over the Internet after Davis was “not selected” to be on the reality show.

According to Lozada, Davis took to a gossip blog and called her a “high end prostitute,” a “drunkard,” and a “hoe ass” — and even accused Lozada of neglecting her daughter.

But the nastiest part — Lozada claims Davis hacked into her email and stole topless photos … which Davis allegedly published online.

Lozada claims Davis is out to “ruin her reputation” — and now she wants Davis to fork over at least $15,000 in damages for all the trouble Davis has allegedly caused. Attempts to reach Davis have been unsuccessful. read more

Entrepreneur Evelyn Lozada, who has emerged as the face of VH1′s hit reality TV show Basketball Wives, was once a video vixen sashaying her hips in music videos such as Jay Z’s “I Just Wanna Love You (Give it 2 Me)”.

This according to my sharp-eyed reader, Justtina K., who spotted the young Evelyn Lozada wearing a powder blue dress and bikini throughout this video.

f you notice, Evelyn manages to keep her face out of most of the video frames. No doubt because she knew she had a daughter at home who would one day be old enough to view the video (Shaniece would have been 7 when this video was made back in 2000)

When studying the history of establishment of this country, a lot of interesting things. The founders of this country, though different ideologies and regions, see Indonesia in the future. When formulating a statement of independence and even the basic state of Indonesia, the founders of our nation to see that Indonesia is still to be fought together. Indonesia should be built solid fundamentals by looking at the state's interest above personal interests and even groups.

1. Relations Between Indonesia and the Revolution It Near Hollywood.

Every June 1, is always celebrated as the Day of Birth of Pancasila during President Sukarno. In 1956, the event was "almost by chance" was celebrated in a Hollywood hotel.

Bung Karno was invited legendary actress, Marilyn Monroe, for a dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Hollywood. Present among them Gregory Peck, George Murphy and Ronald Reagan (25 years later became U.S. President).

Unique from the party ahead of the Birthday of Pancasila, it is folly in terms of protocol Marilyn. At the party, Bung Karno Maryln greeted not with "Mr. President "or" Your Excellency ", but with the" Prince Sukarno ".

2. Setting Revolution in Indonesia Appointed Into Film

There again the close relationship between August 17 and Hollywood. Titles speech August 17, 1964, 'Year of Living Perilocoso' (Year of Full Danger), has been used as the title of a film 'The Year of Living Dangerously'.

The film tells pegalaman an Australian journalist who was assigned to Indonesia in the 1960s, before the bloody events in detik2 th 1965. In 1984, a film starring Mel Gibson gets the Oscar for foreign film category.

3. Flag Red White and the Seven Feast of Not Just a dozen in Indonesia

Flag and the celebration of seventeen is not the monopoly of Indonesia. Shades of the flag with the flag of the Principality of Monaco and style day by day the proclamation of independence as the Republic of Gabon (a West African countries) are independent August 17, 1960.

In addition, there is still a debate whether Indonesia Raya song really is a genuine work of WR Supratman, or 'inspired' by a French song, 'Les Marseilles', which has tones of a very similar?

4. Borneo 3 Led Head of State

According to the Proclamation of August 17, 1945, Metro is an integral part of the jurisdiction of Indonesia. In fact, the island's most unique in the world. On the island, there are three heads of state was governed. President Suharto (reigned four provinces), Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad (Sabah and Sarawak, Malaysia) and Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah (Brunei Darussalam).

5. Capital City of Indonesia Moving Up to Three Times

There has been no country in the world, which has a capital of up to three in a relatively short period of time. Between 1945 and 1948, Indonesia has three capitals, ie: New York (1945-1946), Yogyakarta (1946-1948), and the United Kingdom (1948-1949).

6. Akbar Tanjung So the First Minister "People Indonesia Asli"

After 43 years of independence, Indonesia has a new first minister that truly 'indigenous Indonesian'. Because all the previous ministers were born before August 17, 1945. That means, they never became citizens or occupation of the Netherlands Indies and Japan, because the state law of the Republic of Indonesia does not yet exist at that time.

'People Indonesia genuine' first minister was Ir. Akbar Tanjung (born in Sibolga, North Sumatra, August 30, 1945), as Minister of Youth and Sports in Development Cabinet (1988-1993), the Soeharto era.

Similarly, the mysteries surrounding the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia. History is so sacred to all the people of Indonesia, since Indonesia started from there that could become an independent country, independent, no longer oppressed by the nation menaan kesemena-occupiers.
7. Reason Soekarno Set Date August 17 For Independence Day Indonesia

Two days before the proclamation of Indonesian independence, there was a conversation between Sukarno with Sukarni.

"The most important thing in war and revolution is the right time. In Saigon, I've been planning all these jobs to run on 17, "said Sukarno at the time.

"Why it was taken on 17, why not now, or the 16th?" Asked Sukarni.

"I am a believer in mysticism. I can not explain the reasoning, why on 17 more encouraging to me. However, I feel in my heart, that it is a good time. Number 17 is sacred number. First of all we are in the Holy month of Ramadan, when we were all fasting, this means that most sacred moment for us. Friday the 17th tomorrow, Friday Friday legi Friday of the blessed, holy Friday. Qur'an was revealed on 17, the Muslims pray 17 cycles, therefore the sanctity of the number 17 is not a man-made ", Sukarno explained why.

8. Bung Karno Pain At Independence proclaimed

On August 17, 1945 08:00 (2 hours Prev reading text of the Proclamation), Bung Karno was still sleeping soundly in his room, at East 56th Street Pegangsaan, Cikini. He experienced the symptoms of benign tertian malaria. High body temperature, and very tired after staying up with the concept of the drafters of the text of the proclamation at the house of Admiral Maeda. At that time, right in the middle of the fasting month of Ramadan.

'Pating greges', complained after woken Dr Bung Karno. Suharto, his favorite personal physician. Then the blood flowed and downing pills Chinineurethan intramusculair chinine Brom. Then he slept again. 0900, Bung Karno awakened. Dressed in white and meet her friend, Bung Hatta.

Exactly at 10.00, both proclaimed Indonesia's independence from the porch. "Therefore, brothers! We all have freedom!", Said Bung Karno in the presence of a handful of true patriots.

They then sang the national anthem "Indonesia Raya", waving the flag of Red and White heritage. After a brief and solemn ceremony was complete, the Bung Karno back to her bedroom (still in a feverish condition), but a revolution has begun.

9. Proclamation of Independence Ceremony Made Very Simple

Indonesia's Independence Proclamation Ceremony was held without the Protocol, there is no Corps of music, there is no conductor, and no Pancaragam. Flagpole was made from bamboo stems are rough, and planted just a few minutes before the ceremony. But that's, fact which occurred in a sacred ceremony that awaited for over 300 years.

10. Flag of sheets and fabrics Tukang Soto

Heritage Flag Sang Saka Merah Putih is the first official flag for the Republic of Indonesia. But the sacred flag of whether it made the first time? The color white cloth taken from the bed Sheets, and the red color of the fabric Junior soto.

11. First Command First President Soekarno Currently Being President is Calling Tukang Sate

The first order of President Sukarno as Indonesia's first elected president, not forming a cabinet or signed a decree, but rather call the Junior sate. That was done on the way home, after being elected by acclamation as president. Incidentally on the road met a bare-chested and satay handyman nyeker (not barefoot).

"Satay chicken skewers and fifty!", Order of President Sukarno. Sate was eaten with gusto by a ditch that dirty. And that is, the first command to his people, as well as the first party on his appointment as leader of 70 million more people than a big old country one day.

12. Passengers with Sukarno Bathing Water Art

Taste-taste in the world, only the founding fathers of Indonesia had a shower urine. When I got home from Dalat (Cipanasnya Saigon), Vietnam, August 13, 1945, with Bung Karno Bung Hatta, Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat, and Dr. Suharto (Bung Karno's personal physician), Fighter Bomber plane ride motorized double.

On the way, Sukarno wanted to urinate, but there's no room. On second thought, sought a solution to an unbearable desire it. Seeing the tiny holes in the wall plane, that's where the Bung Karno releasing small lavatory. Because wind is so very loud, bersemburlah urine and wet all passengers including himself.

Hatta Nehru was an old friend since the 1920s, and Gandhi knew the struggle Hatta. After the meeting, Gandhi was told by Nehru that 'Abdullah' is Mohammad Hatta. What is Gandhi's reaction? He was furious to Nehru, because not told the truth. 'You are a savage! " charismatic leaders said it to Nehru.

14. Negatives Photo Film Independence Kept Under the Tree

Thanks to lie, sacred event Proclamation of August 17, 1945 can be documented and witnessed by us until now. When the Japanese army to seize the negative images that perpetuate such an important event, Frans Mendoer, photographer who recorded the seconds proclamation, lied to them.

She says no negatives and it is left to the Pioneers Front, a movement of struggle. Hearing the answer, the Japanese were outraged, but the film negatives were planted under a tree in the Office of page Daily Asia King. After the Japanese left, the negative diafdruk published widely and can be enjoyed up until now. What if Mendoer being true to the Japanese at that time?

Title: The Change Up

Director: David Dobkin

Starring: Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman, Leslie Mann, Olivia Wilde

People often envy their friends’ lifestyles, naively believing that whatever job and family relationships other people have are better than their own. Despite all their wishing, no once can change their life with their friends, and don’t always realize that what they have may be the best option for them. But in the new comedy ‘The Change Up,’ best friends Mitch Planko and Dave Lockwood, who lead completely different lifestyles, accidentally switch places, and realize that they shouldn’t take what they have for granted.

‘The Change Up’ follows Mitch (played by Ryan Reynolds) and Dave (portrayed by Jason Bateman), who have been life-long friends, despite their drastically different lifestyles; Mitch is a single, under-employed actor who doesn’t like the responsibility of family, while Dave is a workaholic lawyer, who’s determined to provide for his wife Jamie (played by Leslie Mann) and their three kids. One night while they’re at a fountain, the two wish for each other’s lives. When they wake up the next morning, they discover that they’ve switched bodies, and that the other’s life isn’t as fulfilling as they expected.

Reynolds and Bateman have an exhilarating relationship together as they portray the unlikeliest of friends who envy each other’s personalities and lifestyles. The two seem as though they truly have been friends for most of their lives, and they would do anything to protect each other. While the two both had the taunting challenge of taking on Mitch’s carefree lifestyle and Dave’s stressful, chaotic schedule, they always made the characters seem loyal to each other, despite not always understanding the other’s choices.

Of the two actors’ portrayals of both characters, Reynolds definitely pushed out of his comfort zone when the two characters switched bodies, and he began playing Dave. Known for playing such eccentric characters in such comedies as ‘Waiting…’ and ‘Just Friends,’ the actor effortlessly took on the role of a devoted family man who was also highly committed to his work.

Despite Reynolds’ natural bond with Bateman and the ease at which he fitted into the role of Dave, director David Dobkin, who is known for helming ‘Wedding Crashers,’ ultimately failed to recapture the tone that made the 2005 comedy a hit. Dobkin focused too heavily on nudity and sex-related jokes in ‘The Change Up,’ particularly when it came to Mitch’s lifestyle. While he undoubingly wanted to reinforce the fact that as a single man, Mitch had more of a sexual freedom than Dave did as a married man, some of the sex-related sequences were unnecessary. For example, at the beginning of the movie, Mitch is excited that he landed his first major starring role. However, after he switched bodies with Dave, he is still expected to show up for the shoot. Dave, now in Mitch’s body, is mortified by the extensive sex scene he has to partake in.

Dobkin, who became known for successfully chronicling male friendships in ‘Wedding Crashers,’ made a decent attempt to recapture the comedy’s achievement with ‘The Change Up.’ Reynolds and Bateman were well cast as Mitch and Dave, and proved their acting ability when the two characters switched bodies. Unfortunately, despite the two main actors’ best efforts, Dobkin was unable to create a completely plausible storyline.
